This breakfast toast features a hearty dose of cancer-protective ingredients and bold flavors. Packed with a hearty dose of fiber and protein, the combination of egg and beans is  satisfying and balanced.

  • 1 slice whole grain bread
  • 2 Tbsp. refried beans, low sodium*
  • 1 Tbsp. pico de gallo
  • 1 sunny side up egg
Makes 1 serving. Per serving: 190 calories, 7 g total fat (2 g saturated fat, 0 g trans fat), 185 mg cholesterol, 19 g carbohydrates, 11 g protein, 4 g dietary fiber, 396 mg sodium, 3 g sugar, 0 g added sugar.


  1. Toast bread.
  2. Warm beans on stovetop or in a microwave.
  3. Cook egg sunny-side up.
  4. Top all ingredients onto toast.
