This study examined the effects of low linolenic soy oil and low linolenic high oleic soy oil on transformation of a premalignant human breast cancer cell line in vitro and in vivo as xenografts. The oils are low in trans fatty acids and in addition to their benefcial effects in cardiovascular disease, could also be benefcial in prevention and growth of breast cancer.
