World Cancer DayEvery year, the Union for International Cancer Control's (UICC) World Cancer Day aims to bring the growing cancer crisis to the attention of the public, government leaders and health policymakers worldwide. This year's World Cancer Day was held on February 4, and had as its main theme "Cancer can be prevented." AICR and our global network helped to raise awareness of World Cancer Day in the US and throughout the world.
AICR Supported World Cancer DayMarilyn Gentry, President of the American Institute for Cancer Research, wrote in support of UICC and this year’s topic of cancer prevention.
