Hot Nutrition News: Follow AICR at FNCE

I’m heading to sunny San Diego for the annual American Dietetic Association Food and Nutrition Conference and Exposition (FNCE) where I’ll be joining around 8,000 dietitians to learn about the latest food and nutrition research and practice.

Mya and I will be tweeting and blogging and updating on facebook from the conference so check back in here and follow us on twitter to find out what’s new from the world of food & nutrition.

Some of the topics we’ll be hearing about and sharing with you include the latest research in physical activity and diet in cancer prevention, inflammation, vitamin D, appetite & satiety, and genes, environment & chronic disease.

Another highlight is the enormous exhibit hall where AICR’s exhibit is always a popular draw – many dietitians know us well and use our materials a lot and many are pleased to learn about us. We get a chance to hear from them about what they need and we also answer their questions about the role that diet, weight and physical activity play in cancer prevention. There are also a lot of food exhibitors, so we’ll let you know some of the hot trends and new products that you may be seeing in the supermarket soon.

Let us know your questions as we report.
