Shred for Cancer on June 1st

une kicks off with National Cancer Survivors Day and we are teaming up with Proshred, a document destruction company, to hold the first ever Shred Cancer event. The purpose of the event is to help spread awareness that many cancers can be prevented and to provide a free community service at the same time. Start gathering your old papers and documents!

You can help us Shred Cancer on Sunday, June 1st, by bringing old documents to any of the Proshred locations that are hosting a free community shredding event. PROSHRED’s shredding trucks will be parked in designated areas to collect your unwanted confidential documents for destruction. At the event, PROSHRED employees will collect donations from customers coming to shred their paper materials. All donations collected will go directly to AICR.

Find a location near you and stop by to support our cancer research and education programs: https://www.aicr.org/events/shredcancer.html.

Jeffrey Hasham, PROSHRED’s CEO stated that “we at PROSHRED feel very privileged to be working with AICR. It is our hope that we can help increase awareness of their research and educational activities. Many of our franchisees and employees have been impacted by cancer, and AICR’s research and education on lifestyle’s role in both the prevention and survival of cancer offers practical, evidence-based help.”
