PROSHRED Franchising Corp. (PROSHRED) and the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) have finalized a partnership arrangement that will see the AICR become PROSHRED’s primary charitable partner nationwide. The central focus of this partnership will be a joint National Shred Event on June 1, 2014, in every city that PROSHRED operates (June 1, 2014, also is National Cancer Survivors Day). PROSHRED will also use its web portal and location network to help AICR in its mission to prevent cancer by educating citizens on diet, exercise and the correlation between a healthy lifestyle and the prevention of cancer.
Jeffrey Hasham, PROSHRED’s CEO stated that “we at PROSHRED feel very privileged to be working with AICR. It is our hope that we can help increase awareness of their research and educational activities. Many of our franchisees and employees have been impacted by cancer, and AICR’s research and education on lifestyle’s role in both the prevention and survival of cancer offers practical, evidence-based help.”
