Examples: Beef, pork, lamb

Processed Meat

Examples: Sausages, ham, bacon, hot dogs, salami, canned meat
Research Says: Limiting red meat intake to less than 3 portions (12-18 ounces) can reduce your risk of colorectal cancer. Eating any processed meat at all increases your risk of colorectal cancer.

Sugar and fat.

Examples: Cakes, pastries, candy, deep-fried fast foods, french fries, chips

Sugary Drinks

Examples: non-diet drinks, sport drinks, sugar sweetened coffee/tea drinks
Research Says: Cutting down on processed foods and drinks that are high in fat and sugar means you are less likely to gain weight. Being a healthy weight can reduce your risk of cancer.

Research Says: Not smoking is the best way to protect yourself from cancer. By not using tanning beds and protecting yourself from sun exposure, you will reduce your risk of skin cancers.
