The American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) and PROSHRED® Security will team up to host their sixth-annual nationwide “Shred Cancer” event on Sunday, June 1. Community members are invited to bring their personal documents to be securely shredded while raising funds for cancer research and education.
The event will be held throughout the country at participating PROSHRED® locations. Event times will vary by location. You can find locations and other details here.
The event is free to attend and a suggested donation of $5 per box will go directly towards funding AICR’s cancer research and education programs. Individuals may bring up to five boxes of documents to one of PROSHRED® Security’s on-site shredding trucks to safely and securely dispose of unwanted personal documents.
Started in 2014 on National Cancer Survivors’ Day, Proshred has contributed over $130,000 to our lifesaving cancer research projects. This year AICR and PROSHRED® Security hope to raise $60,000 for cancer prevention research and education.
Follow along from one of our past events.

AICR is very excited to partner again with PROSHRED® and we look forward to seeing you at the annual “Shred Cancer” event.
