Healthy choices shouldn’t be limited to what’s on your plate. Your cup can also be a source of nutrients (or excess calories).

According to estimates from the CDC, over half of Americans drink a sugary beverage on a given a day. These drinks are a leading source of added sugars, usually contain no nutrients and can contribute to weight gain, type-2 diabetes, heart disease and other chronic conditions. They also indirectly contribute to a higher risk for certain cancers.

Instead of reaching for a sugary coffee drink or hot toddy with alcohol, try a cup of some of these healthy cancer-fighting beverages.
