Project Description:

Dr. Evans sought to determine the levels of vitamin D receptors in colon cancer tissues and correlate with prognostic features. In addition, the effect of the active metabolite of vitamin D (1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3) and its analogs on the growth of human colon cancer xenografts was followed.
