Dr. Rogers studied how a deficiency of choline, methionine, or folic acid, which are nutrients central to one-carbon metabolism and cellular reproduction, can increase the risk of developing a second primary cancer in patients given chemotherapy, and how this might be prevented by dietary supplementation with choline.
