Project Description:

This proposal determined whether oxidative tissue damage is central in lung injury during radiation and whether treatment with dietary antioxidants and food supplements that augment endogenous antioxidant enzymes inhibits or ameliorates short-term and/or long-term normal tissue damage in the lung.
