John "Juke" Logan - Musician and Survivor
John “Juke” Logan, a legendary blues harmonica player, is suffering from his third round of esophageal cancer after an extraordinary career as a musician. If you ever watched the "Roseanne" or "Home Improvement" sitcoms, or movies like Crossroads, La Bamba or others, you have heard Juke.
On April 14th, a concert honoring Juke was held in Los Angeles to benefit the American Institute for Cancer. The concert featured a variety of acts including Grammy award winning guitarist Dave Alvin, King Cotton, the Delgado Brothers, the Bonedaddys and many more. The concert was a great success and helped to spread awareness of esophageal cancer as well as raise thousands of dollars for AICR. Check out a recording of the concert or visit Juke’s tribute page and leave him some kind words.
Thank you Juke for all that you’ve done for AICR!
