Project Description:

Dr. Akporiaye has developed a novel form of vitamin E, alpha-tocopheryloxyacetic acid (a-TEA). Vesiculated a-TEA (Va-TEA) is more water-soluble and more clinically relevant. The goal of this study is to employ Va-TEA in combination with an immune cell known as the dendritic cell (DC) to destroy metastatic breast cancer and to establish immunity.
