This generous company established the Share the Care with Life Fund and contributed a portion of the proceeds from the sale of specially designated pink ribbon items to fund two breast cancer research grants.

Abbott Nutrition was a major supporter Food for the Fight, an educational DVD for cancer patients and survivors, produced in collaboration with New York Presbyterian Hospitals. In addition to financial support, Abbott Nutrition also helped distribute 20,000 free DVDs to hospitals, cancer centers, and clinics throughout the country.

Giant Food Supermarkets in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC partnered with AICR in the Shop for Health, Eat for Life Campaign. The two-week campaign helped spread AICR’s message of cancer prevention, and helped raise funds for the fight against cancer through the sales of selected healthy products.
