For over a decade, AICR has been developing healthy recipes to highlight that help you put cancer prevention research onto your plate. This month, we’re celebrating our 600th healthy recipe by asking you to choose your favorites in our Recipe March Madness!

Throughout the month, this page will feature new recipe choices each week. Vote for your pick and check back to see which recipe is winning! At the end of the month, we’ll have one healthy, delicious menu for you to try. And don’t forget to sign up to get our weekly recipes delivered straight to your inbox!

Over the last few weeks asked you to choose your favorite appetizer and entree.

The winning appetizer was Beet Salad with Peaches and Walnuts. Gem-colored peaches and beets boast healthy amounts of fiber, potassium and vitamin C as well as anthocyanins and polyphenols.

The winning entree was Garlic Salmon with Black Bean Sauce. Fish is rich in protein, B vitamins and selenium. Salmon is rich in beneficial omega-3 fatty acids, linked to lower rates of heart disease. EMerging evidence suggests that eating fish may offer protection against liver cancer.

This week we're asking you to choose your favorite side dish and dessert. Which ones will win?

Side Dishes:

Balsamic Glazed Carrots

Spicy Roasted Cauliflower

Golden Quick Barley

Roasted Salmon Potato Salad

Hazelnut Chocolate Blini

Berry Yogurt Popsicles

Easy Baked Apples

Chocolate Banana Strudel
