Project Description:

Dr. Kritchevsky evaluated whether the inhibition of spontaneous and induced carcinogenesis by caloric restriction may be related to changes in the phospholipid profile that occurs in the transformation of normal cells to cancer cells. This was a collaborative study supported by AICR and the Food and Drug Administration�s National Center for Toxicological Research.
