Project Description:

Dr. Barnes evaluated the effectiveness of genistein, an isoflavone in soybeans, in preventing breast cancer and studied if the cancer preventive properties of genistein might be enhanced by other natural ingredients in soybeans. This project was supported by a matching grant from AICR and Protein Technologies International.
