Dr. Christman explored the relationship between a restricted diet (60% of control) and a high fat diet (40% of calories from fat) on the conversion of benign breast lesions to a cancerous state in mice, as well as the hormonal status of the host mice, the balance between cell proliferation and apoptosis, and the influence of estrogen and estrogen receptors on the interaction between the different regimens.
