Dr. Kuhajda explored the role of endogenous fatty acid synthesis in malignant and non-malignant cells, as well as the relationship of dietary fatty acids in the regulation of cell proliferation. He also tested the differential ability of dietary fatty acids to inhibit cell proliferation in normal and cancer cells.
