This renewal grant was a continuation of Dr. Yen�s work on how retinoic acid (vitamin A) induces a change in tumor expression in leukemic cells. Overall the goal of this grant was to design a chemotherapeutic regime using retinoic acid, as a prototype, to help treat individuals with leukemia.
