Dr. Romney sought to determine if a nutrient supplement of beta-carotene, vitamin C, and folic acid administered for six months, in amounts exceeding normal requirements, can slow down or reverse the growth of pre-cancerous cells in women diagnosed with moderate cervical dysplasia.
