Project Description:

The objective of this research was to elucidate the roles of folate and folate receptor alphain in ovarian and endometrial cancers. It investigated the expression and localization of the receptor in clinical samples and in ovarian and endometrial cancer cell lines and examined the effects of folate on proliferation, apoptosis, migration and invasion of normal and cancer cell lines in vitro.
