These studies were designed to address the antitumor mechanism and the potential chemopreventive effects of 3, 3�-di-indolylmethanine (DIM), a phytochemical found in cruciferous vegetables. The study examined whether DIM inhibits metastasis of human breast and ovarian cancer cell lines through modulation of chemokine receptors and chemotaxis.
