Project Description:

This post-doctoral study sought to understand the role that the ERK1/2 signalling pathway plays in growth inhibition of androgen-sensitive and insensitive prostate cancer cells (LNCaP and DU145). The study also examined ERK1/2 pathway proteins as markers of the clinical effcacy of selenium in patients treated on a selenium supplementation trial for prostate cancer.
