Project Description:

These studies were designed to examine the hypothesis that saturated and omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids enhance Jak2-Stat5 signal transduction in prostate cancer cells, thereby promoting their survival and proliferation, whereas omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids oppose Jak2-Stat5 signalling and reduce the growth of prostate cancer cells.
