AICR supports
World Cancer Day

Today, February 4, we are uniting with organizations around the world for World Cancer Day, a global event dedicated to dispelling widespread "myth-information" about cancer risk – including the myth that we are powerless against cancer.

AICR estimates that about 1/3 of the most common cancers could be prevented simply by eating well, moving more and staying lean. That's over 374,000 cases in the US every year.

Today, please help us spread the message that many cancers can be prevented.

There is nothing
I can do about cancer.

Cancer continues to devastate lives. By 2030, the global number of cancer cases per year is expected to rise to 21 million, from 14 million today.

This is why AICR is dedicated to cancer research and education, and why we are joining the WCRF global network and other organizations in supporting World Cancer Day, led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).
